Medical Services - Paramedic

Course Description: 

This program is desinged to teach an EMT how to handle medical, traumatic and psychiatric emergencies; ranging from simple cuts to Heart Attacks and Strokes at the Paramedic level. Building on the EMTs basic skills we add advanced Airway Mangement which includes Endotracheal Intubation, LMA, PTL and Combitues, IV threapy, advanced patient assessment, medication administration, EKG intrupratation and more. The IEME program doesn't end wih minimum DOT requirements; we add many enrichment programs into the core material to procduce a well rounded Paramedic.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
  • Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS)
  • Geriatric Education for Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) - American Geriatrics Society
  • Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) – American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Introduction to Tactical EMS
  • Introduction to Technical Rescue
  • Introduction to Personal Defense
  • Introduction to Weapons of Mass Destruction
  • Introduction to BioTerrorism
